8 weeks of INSANITY

I am now through eight weeks of Insanity.  One week left, but since this is late that means in a few 3 days I will be finished!  I have also decided what I am going to once I am finished...check back next week to find out just what my plans are!

So the eighth week went well.  I stuck to all the workouts just like always, I did notice that I am significantly better at some moves than I was in previous weeks.  One example is side suicide jumps, these are hard ridiculously hard, but I am now able to do them with some accuracy! :)  

As for food, I did pretty good, but I think that I fell into a bit of a rut.  I am still eating from the elite nutrition book, but I have found the recipes that I like and I have been sticking to them...I think I need more variety in my diet.  I also have had a REALLY hard time upping my calorie intake.  For the past three weeks I was supposed to be consuming 250-300 more calories a day because of the increase in workouts...this has been so difficult for me, I am just not hungry enough to eat more food. This last week I am trying to make more of an effort, but it is sooo hard!

I did however lose another 1/2 pound!

I love this outfit and how it turned out.  I thought it was fitting what I was told by a friend's husband that my outfit should be "pinned" if it wasn't already :)

Camping with Grammy Bonnie and Papa Dennis

This past week we spent some time on the Oregon Coast with Grammy Bonnie and Papa Dennis.  We went camping, played a ton and had a wonderful time with them.

 I was going to do a separate blog about her earring, but I will just tell you know.  Ashlyn decided to get her ears pierced on 7/31/11.  We had decided to wait until she asked to have it done.  That Sunday after I put her hair up and told her how pretty she was she said "I want to get my ears pierced"  This pic was taken on 8/2/11 and shortly after she tumbled out of the hammock chair and her earring came out.  Sadly we didn't see until her ear had closed up.....so now we are facing paying another $50 to have one ear repierced...seems ridiculous to me!  Any tips on cheaper piercings would be appreciated.

We had a wonderful weekend.  Quick trip down and home, so lucky that we had great traffic conditions. Wonderful weather and lots of good memories made!  We love you grammy and papa!  See you soon!

a little diy decoration

So I should be cleaning my house and getting ready for my company that will be here by lunch.......but I have lots of time.....Right?

I made this little flower ball a few weeks ago and love how it turned out and how the space above the cupboards in the kitchen are coming along.
